Attorney Alexa J. Kwartin is dedicated to assisting families as they navigate the difficult issues that often arise in family law matters. She understands that family-centered legal matters are very often draining and stressful, and she strives to meet the needs of her clients in a comprehensive and compassionate way. She is a responsible, talented, and experienced attorney whose primary goal is to serve the families of Atlanta as they proceed through difficult family transitions. Alexa practices in all of the metro Atlanta counties.

Alexa was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Having grown up with divorced parents, she has experienced first-hand the complexities and stress involved in family law matters. Alexa tailors her approach to each individual client and his or her family, as all families are different.

Attorney Elaine G. Levine represents individuals, married couples, partners, and families as they make their end-of-life decisions, as well as estate representatives in probate matters after the death of a loved person. Together, Elaine and her clients work to protect spouses, partners, children, and grandchildren with appropriate guardians and trusts, as well as to minimize the obstacles, difficulties, and financial burdens associated with aging and death. By documenting each person’s expectations and desires, Elaine strives to ensure smooth transitions in times of accidents, stress, decline, and death.

Elaine Levine practices in the area of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, and Probate. She has worked with approximately 800 families as they make their end-of-life personal decisions and plan for their families’ futures.

Attorney Elizabeth Osborne Lawrence is motivated at all times to provide her clients with the peace of mind that their wishes will be fulfilled and that their loved ones will be well cared for. Liz has always had a special relationship with her grandmother, whose growing care needs inspired her pursuit of a career in elder law and estate planning. Since beginning her legal career, Liz has expanded her practice to include estate planning for individuals across a wide variety of ages, assets and concerns, including planning for individuals with disabled family members. Liz also counsels the Firm’s clients regarding guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, probate and trust administration, and Veterans benefits. Liz is an officially accredited attorney with the Veterans Administration.

Attorney Laura Akins Smith has over ten years of experience helping individuals and families throughout the greater Atlanta area. Her practice focuses on special needs planning, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and elder law. Laura is deeply committed to guiding clients through some of the most personal and emotional moments of their lives — whether they are planning for the future or navigating the loss of a loved one. Originally from Atlanta, Laura appreciates the opportunity to serve her hometown. From a young age, Laura was called to make a meaningful difference in other people’s lives. She began her career in a law firm centered on estate planning for typical individuals and families. For the past several years, Laura has developed a strong foundation in special needs planning and elder law.
